After ten years it is time to get a new logo, the old house isn't very good for printing cutting and so on. Hence we thought about the logo and found a new good Soundfabrik.net logo. Maybe you think it's just a square with three circles in it or just a bass box where one loudspeaker is missing. You can choose yourself what it really is, the main thing is that you remember and like it.

Secondly I updated the site to work with IE7. It's still not easy to render standard html documents in the newest generation Internet browser.

We finally made it - after four years, marigold recorded a new song!

Thanks to Deutsche Post (mail), the nice callshop in Dresden across Matthias' home and Alex (Kultzone) - Nothing could bar us from recording.


As the new one will be released on the kultzone compilation "Münchensampler 6" you might listen to a pre-version in the meantime.

The presentation (without marigold) is on 22th April 2006 at Munich Glockenbachwerkstatt (Blumenstr. 7)

Here we are, even faster than expected! It took us a lot of hard work and caffeine, but now you can browse the re-launched soundfabrik dot net, completely new in look and feel.

As we gave you an advance warning, here you are with more html, more php. and yes, ahm, the rock'n'roll thing...well, first things first! sooner or later you will find new material in the music section.

We actually did take care of you guys using non-free operating systems, so you can perfectly enjoy the site in your systems' default browsers.

Just feel free to take a look-around and check out all the new stuff.

This is the last news item before March 1st. We are working on a complete rewrite of the page. More html, more php, more rocknroll. So hopefully at the end of february the new site will be launched.

2005 Nov 17

Although Sofaproject takes a break, last we recorded a song for the sampler "30 Jahre Cordobar".. There was a CD-launch at Cordobar, where Melanie took some photos. Since Sofaproject was put to hold, Nils asked his also disbanded band, Panorama 3000, to enter stage together with the rest of Sofaproject. The song from Sofaproject can be found under music on this site. It was also the first completely ardour recorded song.

Sofaproject got a new rehearsal room. We took some photos on renovating the room. Secondly a lot of content is updated:
